What is more funny is a God who still loves and reaches out to people who don't believe in Him.

Allow me to re-phrase: It was his LESSON PLAN that had to be changed. And the fact that he was dictating a lesson plan to local schools, and the content of the lesson plan were what got folks peeved.
I love you like the brother that you are, Tim, but you need to go back a few days to read what the President's ORIGINAL text was supposed to be, which triggered all this blowback. Subsequently, he was forced to change that original text when parents and schools saw how outrageous it was.

Even some Chicago school disctricts and other center-left districts across the nation refused to show it. Parents are simply not comfortable and are understandably distrustful of the man they're seeing spending their kids and grandkids into unsustainable debt.

Tim, I'm a Christian first, an American second, but that does not keep me from being a watchman on the wall, and to speak out when necessary. If you go back to last week and read what his original intent was, you might agree that we have absolutely nothing to apologize for.

We should all continue to pray for the president and for his lovely family, for their salvation, safety, etc. But please don't be fooled by this smooth operator; his Illinois Senate, US Senate, White House track record and his underworld/communist friendships give us plenty of reasons to think of him as a wolf.

Originally I had a picture of Colleen on this article with LaPlata in the background. I now have the article updated with a picture of me near the summit. (Hard to get those pictures to email at 14,000 feet!)

Note that this picture is deceiving: I was nowhere near this mountain climb! Karis and I took a short hike on a nearby trail, and then enjoyed a leisurely day at the campsite.
